A SEPIATONE CURRIER & IVES LITHOGRAPH, "DEATH OF PRESIDENT LINCOLN AT WASHINGTON DC APRIL 15TH 1865 - THE NATION`S MARTYR"  
This print shows Abraham Lincoln in bed surrounded by his wife, sons, and members of the cabinet. The number and names of the people in the room is not historically accurate; the room at the boarding house was small and only three or four people could fit in the room at once. Verso notated "Entered According to Act of Congress 1865 by Currier & Ives in the Clerk`s Office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York". Together with an early hand-colored lithograph of "Andrew Jackson Seventh President of the United States", and a hand-embroidered Victorian "Welcome Home" house blessing. 3 pieces.
